Ron DeSantis was a 2012 Republican candidate who won election to the U.S. House representing the 6th Congressional District of Florida. DeSantis won the Republican primary on August 14, 2012.[1] He won the election on November 6, 2012.[2]

DeSantis was running in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Florida's 6th District. DeSantis won the nomination on the Republican ticket.[4] Candidates wishing to run must file by the signature filing deadline of June 8, 2012. The primary elections were held on August 14, 2012. DeSantis won the nomination in the Republican primary on August 14, 2012.[1] He won the election on November 6, 2012.[5]
