Ronald C. Lee is an at-large member of the Dayton Board of Education. He ran against four other candidates for four available seats in the November 5, 2013 general election and won re-election. Lee was first appointed to the board in November 2007 to replace Gail Littlejohn.[1]


Lee has been involved with the Citizen Financial Review Group and the Dayton Youth Commission since his retirement from General Motors.[1]

Lee reported no contributions or expenditures to the Ohio Secretary of State.[2]


Lee won his first full term on the board by placing fourth out of five candidates in the November 3, 2009 general election.

What was at stake?

Incumbents Lee and Joe Lacey were running for re-election to the board against challengers Adil T. Baguirov, Walter James Hickman, Jr. and Rountree in the November 5, 2013 election. Hickman did not file nominating petitions to be included on the ballot but filed as a certified write-in candidate with the Montgomery County Board of Elections.[3]
