Rory Lancman (b. March 1, 1969) is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly. He has represented District 25 since 2007. Lancman is running for U.S. House in 2012.[1]

Biography

Lancman's political experiences include member of Community Board 8; candidate for New York State Senate, District 11 in 2000; and aging committee chair for Community Board 8.

Lancman is counsel with Pensterstock & Partners, Limited LIability Partnership and principal Rory Lancman, Attorney at Law. His professional experiences also include associate with Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson and a first lieutenant with the New York Army National Guard, Infantry.

Lancman earned her BA from Queens College, City University of New York and JD Columbia Law School. He and his wife, Morgan, have three children.[2]

Lancman ran unopposed in the September 14 Democratic primary. He was also unopposed in the general election on November 2.[3] In addition to running on the Democratic ticket, he ran on the Working Familes ticket.
