Marquez is running in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 64. He is running against Barbara Shelton in the Democratic primary on August 7. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012. [1]

Campaign themes

Marquez opposes funding cuts to education and does not support "right to work" legislation. He favors repealing the tax on senior citizen pensions.[2]
