Jones is running for re-election in the 2012 election for Arizona House of Representatives District 13. He is running against incumbent Steve Montenegro, Toby Farmer, and Darin Mitchell in the August 28, 2012, Republican primary. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012.[4]
2010
Jones won re-election to the 24th district seat in 2010. He faced no opposition in the August 24 primary election. He and Democrat Lynne Pancrazi defeated John Weil in the November 2 general election.[5]

On November 4, 2008, Jones and Lynne Pancrazi were elected to the 24th District Seat in the Arizona House of Representatives, defeating opponent Theresa Ulmer (D).[6]
