Awadalla was an independent candidate for District 32 of the New Jersey General Assembly. He was defeated in the November 8 general election. Vincent Prieto and Angelica Jimenez defeated Francisco Torres in the Democratic Primary on June 7. Ronald Tarolla and Michael Bartulovich ran unopposed in the Republican primary. April Tricoli-Busset ran as an Independent in the November 8 general election as well.[1]
