Sally Ann Gonzales (b. October 2, 1957) is a Democratic member of the Arizona House of Representatives, representing District 3. She was first elected to the chamber in 2010.

Gonzales served on the Pascua Yaqui Tribal Council from 1992 to 1998.

Biography

Gonzales earned her B.A. from Arizona State University in 1985 and her M.A. from the University of Arizona in 1994. Her professional experience includes working as a bilingual classroom teacher for Tucson Unified School District and program coordinator of Manos A La Vida for the University of Arizona from 1995 to 1996.

Gonzales won re-election in the 2012 election for Arizona House of Representatives District 3. She and incumbent Macario Saldate ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 28, 2012. She won the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]

Gonzales and Macario Saldate won the August 24 primary. They then defeated Republican Robert I. Compton, Green Party candidate Kent Solberg, and Independent Gene Chewning in the November 2 general election.[4][5]
