Sam Clovis is a Republican candidate for the United States Senate in the 2014 elections in Iowa.[1]

Clovis is the host of the conservative radio show “Impact With Sam Clovis” on KSCJ-AM. He announced the last week of May 2013 that he was considering throwing his name into the race. Clovis, also a Morningside College economics professor, said he believes voters "are ready for a red-meat conservative.”[2]
