Azzinaro attended the Rhode Island School of Design. He currently works as a carpenter.

Azzinaro won re-election in the 2012 election for Rhode Island House of Representatives District 37. Azzinaro was unopposed in the September 11 Democratic primary and was unopposed the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]

Azzinaro won re-election to the 37th District Seat in 2010. He was unopposed in the September 14 Democratic primary and defeated Republican Philip Gingerella and independent Robert Gionet in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2][3]
