A San Francisco Candlestick Park Naming Rights Amendment ballot proposal will be on the November 3, 2009 ballot in San Francisco.[1]

San Francisco Supervisor Bevan Dufty is behind an effort to place a measure on the ballot that would reverse the city's current policy on Candlestick Park naming rights. Dufty's proposal would allow San Francisco to sell naming rights to the park once the lease on the park held by the San Francisco 49ers expires. In 2004, voters rejected Proposition H, which also sought to reverse the city's policy on how to name the park.

One reason the issue is coming up now is because the 49ers are thinking about moving their team to Santa Clara.
