A "Save the San Francisco Junior ROTC Initiative", Proposition V ballot question was on the November 4, 2008 ballot in San Francisco, where it was approved.[1].

Proposition V overturned a 2006 vote to shut down the Junior ROTC by 2009.[2]

Text of measure

The language on the ballot said:

Shall it be City policy to encourage the School Board to reverse its decision to terminate JROTC and to continue to offer JROTC in San Francisco public high schools?
