Sandra M. Pihos (b. June 11, 1946) is the Republican member of the Illinois State Representative for the 42nd district since 2003. She also serves on Glenbard Township District 87 School Board.

Pihos worked as a teacher and served on the Parent Council of Glen Crest Junior High, and has been a guidance counselor

She is Founder/Ex-Officio Director/Volunteer with Michael's Place Literacy Center, Secretary of the Partnership for Educational Progress Foundation, Trustee with the Partnership for Educational Progress Foundation, member of the Holy Apostles Church Women's Organization, and DuPage County Workforce Development Board.[1]
