Sandy Cole (b. December 29, 1953) is a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 62nd district since 2007. She is also a Lake County Board Commissioner and Lake County Forest Preserves Commissioner.

Cole worked as an Office Manager with Cole, Martin and Company from 1992-1996. She graduated from Rockford College in 1976 with a B.S. in Graphic Arts.[1]

HB0259 Plastic Bag Recycling Act Requires retailers that distribute plastic bags to consumers to implement a plastic bag collection and recycling program. Sets out plastic bag recycling program requirements. Provides that any retailer who knowingly violates the Act is guilty of a business offense punishable by a fine of not more than $5,000.
