Five Sanilac County Levy Increase Measures were on the August 3, 2010 ballot in Sanilac County.

All five measures were approved

The first measure sought to increase the current drug task force levy by $.50 per $1,000 of assessed property value for the next three years in order to further fund the task force in the county.

The second measure sought to increase the current parks and recreation levy by $.20 per $1,000 of assessed property value for the next four years in order to further fund the operation and maintenance of parks in the county.

The third measure sought to renew the current medical services levy of $.20 per $1,000 of assessed property value for the next six years in order to further fund the operation and maintenance of the county Medical Care facility.

The fourth measure sought to increase the current 911 emergency services levy by $.20 per $1,000 of assessed property value for the next four years in order to further fund the operation or facilities and 911 emergency services offered in the county.

The fifth measure sought to increase the current veterans levy by $.12 per $1,000 of assessed property value for the next six years in order to further fund support services and assistance to veterans in the county. [1]
