Scott D'Amboise was a 2012 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. Senate from Maine. D'Amboise was defeated by Charles Summers in the Republican primary on June 12, 2012.[1]

Biography

D’Amboise grew up in Carmel, Maine and is a graduate of Hermon High School and attended the University of Maine. [2]

D'Amboise ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. Senate, representing Maine. D'Amboise was seeking the nomination on the Republican ticket. [3] He faced Richard Bennett, Charles Summers, Debra Plowman, Bruce Poliquin, and William Schneider in the June 5 Republican primary. D'Amboise was defeated by Charles Summers in the primary election.[1] The Democratic primary was Benjamin Pollard, Matthew Dunlap, Cynthia Dill, and Jon Hinck. Third party candidates are Andrew Ian Dodge, Aaron Marston, and Angus King. Cynthia Dill won the Democratic nomination and will face Summers in the general election.

D'Amboise currently resides in Lisbon Falls, Maine with his wife Debbie. Together they have two children. [2]
