Scott J. Kawasaki (b. March 20, 1975) is a Democratic member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing the 9th District since 2007. Prior to his election to the House he served on the Fairbanks City Council from 1999-2005.

Kawasaki worked as a Senior Patient Representative at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital from 1999-2008. He is a member of Rotary Golden Heart, American Council of Young Political Leaders, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity Board, American Red Cross, Big Brothers/Sisters of America, and the National Rifle Association.[1]

Kawasaki is running for re-election in the 2012 election for Alaska House of Representatives District 4. He ran unopposed in the August 28, 2012, Democratic primary. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]

2010

Kawasaki won re-election to the 9th District Seat in 2010. He had no opposition in the August 24 primary.[5] He defeated Joseph A. Michel in the November 2 general election.[6]
