Scott J. Kawasaki is a Democratic member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing the 9th District since 2007. Prior to his election to the House he served on the Fairbanks City Council from 1999-2005.

Kawasaki worked as a Senior Patient Representative at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital from 1999-2008. He is a member of Rotary Golden Heart, American Council of Young Political Leaders, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity Board, American Red Cross, Big Brothers/Sisters of America, and the National Rifle Association.[1]

Issue positions

Kawasaki's answers to the Alaska State Legislative Election 2008 Political Courage Test are available. The test provides voters with how a candidate would vote on the issues if elected. He did not provide a response when asked his top legislative priorities.[2]
