Scott Noren was a 2012 Independent candidate who sought election to the U.S. Senate from New York. He did not obtain sufficient signatures to qualify for the ballot but he ran as a write-in candidate.[1] He lost in the general election.[2]

Noren ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. Senate, representing New York. He did not submit sufficient signatures by the filing deadline.[3] He ran as a write-in against Kirsten Gillibrand (D), Wendy Long (R), Chris Edes (L), Colia Clark (G) and John Mangelli (Common Sense Party) in the general election on November 6, 2012. Gillibrand won.[2]
