Scott Rigell was elected as a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives on November 2, 2010. He will represent the 2nd District.

Rigell won the November 2, 2010 election against incumbent Glenn Nye, with 53% of the vote to Nye's 42%.

Rigell raised $2.75 million in campaign contributions, while Nye raised $1.58 million.[1]
