Wiley defeated John Harkins, Brian Pitzer, and Terry Scutella in the Democratic primary on April 24 and defeated Janet Anderson (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012. Incumbent Republican Jane Earll did not seek re-election. [1][2]
