Shane Gibson was a Democratic candidate for District 72 of the Indiana House of Representatives. The primary election was on May 4, 2010 and the general election was on November 2.

Gibson lost to Republican incumbent Edward Clere by a margin of 12,408 to 9,087. [1] The general election took place on November 2, 2010.

In the May 4th primary, Gibson ran unopposed and received 2,766 votes. [2]
