Shantel Krebs (b. April 28, 1973) is a Republican member of the South Dakota State Senate, representing District 10. She was first elected to the chamber in 2010.

Krebs served in the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 10 from 2005 to 2011.

Biography

Krebs graduated from Dakota State University in Madison with a B.S. in Business Administration.

She initially worked in the health care industry before becoming a business owner of two retail stores in downtown Sioux Falls. She currently works in business development for Milo Belle Consultants and is a partner in the Lazy RRse Buffalo Ranch.[1]

Krebs was a candidate for the South Dakota House in 2002 but was not elected.

Krebs won re-election in the 2012 election for South Dakota State Senate District 10. Krebs ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 5 and defeated Paul A. Thompson (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[3]
