Shapleigh Smith (b. December 16, 1965) is a Democratic member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Lamoille-Washington-1. He was first elected to the chamber in 2002. He is currently serving as Speaker of the House.

Biography

Smith earned his B.A. from the University of Vermont in 1987. He went on to receive his J.D. from Indiana University in 1991.

Smith is a lawyer.
