Sharon Steckman is a Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives. She has represented the 13th District since 2009 and currently serves as an Assistant Minority Leader. Steckman previously served as an Assistant Majority Leader.

Steckman is a teacher.

She is a member of the Mason City Swim Club, Mason City Youth Hockey Association, Trinity God Squad, and Trinity Lutheran Church.[1]

Steckman won re-election to the 13th District seat against Brian R. Randall (R). Steckman had no opposition in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[2]
