Sharon Steckman is a Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives. She has represented the 13th District since 2009 and currently serves as an Assistant Minority Leader. Steckman previously served as an Assistant Majority Leader.

Steckman is a teacher.

She is a member of the Mason City Swim Club, Mason City Youth Hockey Association, Trinity God Squad, and Trinity Lutheran Church.[1]

Steckman is running in the 2012 election for Iowa House of Representatives District 53. Steckman ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 5, 2012. No Democratic candidates filed in the district. The general election takes place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
