Sharon Treat (b. January 30, 1956) is a Democratic member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 79 since 2006 and previously from 1990 to 1996. She served in the Maine State Senate from 1996 to 2004. Treat ran in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 79.

Treat is Executive Director of the National Legislative Association on Prescription Drug Prices. She previously worked as Coordinator of Environmental Studies Program at Colby College, was an Adjunct Professor at Bowdoin College, University of Southern Maine, University of Maine Law School, University of New England, and has been a lawyer.

Treat is a member of the American Public Health Association, Maine Bar Association, Maine Women's Lobby, National Resource Council Maine, Trustee of the Hubboard Free Library, and serves on the Board of Maine Equal Justice Partner, Lakes Monitoring Association, and the Gardiner Library Association.[1]

Treat won re-election in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 79. Treat was unopposed in the June 12 Democratic primary and defeated William Guerrette (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
