Shawn Tarrant (b. July 30, 1965) is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates. He has represented District 40 since January 10, 2007 and also serves as 2nd Vice Chair of the Maryland Democratic Party.

Tarrant is Region Director of State Government Operations for Bristol-Myers Squibb.

He is President of the Ashburton Area Association, and a member of the Union Baptist Church Board of Deacons, Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland, and the Work Group on Cultural Competency and Workforce Development for Mental Health Professionals.[1]
