Shelley Mayer is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly. She has represented District 93 since winning the March 20, 2012 special election. The special election was called to fill the vacancy created when Mike Spano (D) resigned in 2011 after being elected Mayor of Yonkers.[1]

Mayer defeated Donnamarie Nolan (R) in the March 20, 2012 special election. Mayer also ran on the Independence and Working Family Party tickets.[2] [3]
