Sheryl Williams-Stapleton (b. 1958) is a Democratic member of the New Mexico House of Representatives. She has represented the 19th District since 1995 and currently serves as Majority Whip. Stapleton defeated challenger Cara A. Valente-Compton in the Democratic primary on June 5, 2012.[1]

Stapleton is running for re-election in 2012. She defeated Cara A. Valente-Compton in the June 5, 2012 Democratic primary.[1] The general election takes place on November 6, 2012.[2]
