A Southern Local School District Bond Measure was on the August 3, 2010 ballot in the Southern local school district which is in Meigs County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 556 (51.1%)Approveda
  • NO 532 (48.9%)[1]

This measure, an identical one to that which was voted down in May, sought to borrow around $3.9 million and would enact two levies, on for .5 mills and the other for 2.7 mills. The school district was hoping to get the measures passed in order to get more money from the state to help with construction projects throughout the district. The previous vote failed with 338 votes in favor and 421 against.[2]
