Springvale Township Road Levy Increase Proposal (November 2012)
This measure proposed to authorize the Springvale Township to increase property taxes by up to 2 mills ($2 per $1,000 of assessed valuaiton) for 5 years in order to fund repairs and improvements of township roads. The estimated first year revenue from this tax was $170,600.

|“||Shall Springvale Township impose an extra road millage up to 2 mills ($2.00 per $1,000.00 of taxable value) in the tax limitation, imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution, and levy it for 5 years, 2012 through 2016 inclusive, to accelerate repairs and improvements to township roads, raising an estimated $170,600.00 in the first year the millage is levied.
