Stacy Erwin Oakes is a Democratic member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 95 since November 2010. She won both a special election to fill the remainder of the term of a seat left vacant by a resignation and a full term on November 2, 2010.[1]

Oakes has worked as a policy analyst in the Michigan House of Representatives and served as the Assistant Attorney General.

Oakes graduated from Ferris State University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. She also graduated from Michigan State University College of Law.

Oakes won re-election in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 95. She was unopposed in the August 7 Democratic primary and defeated Jeff Baker (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
