Stanley Rosenberg (b. October 12, 1949) is a Democratic member of the Massachusetts State Senate. He has represented the Hampshire and Franklin district since 2003. Rosenberg is also the President Pro Tempore with the Massachusetts Senate since 2003. His other political experiences include first assistant majority leader in the Massachusetts Senate and a representative with the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1987-1991.

Rosenberg's professional experiences include district director for United States Representative Atkins; staff member of the Massachusetts Democratic Party; an aide to State Senator Olver; director of the Arts Extension Service, community development and human service programs for the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.

Rosenberg graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 1977.[1]

Rosenberg won re-election to the Hampshire and Franklin District Seat in 2010. He had no opposition. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.

On November 4, 2008, Rosenberg won re-election for the Senate election for the Hampshire and Franklin district. [2] In this election he raised $175,733-; of that total $171,123 (97.4%) was from in state contributions and $4,025 (2.3%) was from out of state contributions.[3]
