State Policy Network is a 501(c)(3) national think tank network "dedicated solely to improving the practical effectiveness of independent, non-profit, market-oriented, state-focused think tanks." Founded in 1992 by Ted Roe at the urging of Ronald Reagan, its headquarters are in Arlington, Virginia.[1]

Its mission is to "advance a free society by providing leadership development, management training and networking opportunities for think tank professionals and by promoting strategic partnerships among market-oriented organizations."[1]
