Stephan Andrew Brodhead was a 2012 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 6th Congressional District of Washington.


Brodhead has a degree in Industrial Science from Colorado State University. He joined the Air Force and started a small business. He has served an 18 month tour in the most recent Iraq War.[1]


Brodhead supports "increasing the Social Security payroll tax to 7.5% from 6.2% and eliminating the Federal government's ability to borrow from the yearly Social Security revenue stream and surplus"[2]

  • "Repeal, refine, and replace ' Affordable care Act'"[3]
  • "Add a section 6 to the 14th Amendment:'Offspring born on American soil to illegal status immigrants are exempt from birth right citizenship. At least one parent must have status as an American citizen!"[4]
  • "I will support military spending that is 4% of GDP."[5]

Brodhead ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Washington's 6th District. He was defeated in the August 7, 2012, open primary.[6][7]
