Kren was defeated by Christy Perry in the Republican primary on May 25th by a margin of 3,398-2,602.[2]

2008

On November 4, 2008, Republican Steve Kren won re-election to the Idaho House of Representatives District 13B receiving 70.2% of the vote (15,353 votes), ahead of Democrat Byron Yankey who received 29.8% of the vote (6,514 votes).[3]
