Stephen A. "Steve" Horne (b. June 10, 1958) is a Republican member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 81. He was first elected to the chamber in 2003.


Horne earned his B.S. from the University of Southern Mississippi. His professional experience includes working as an Insurance/Assistant Administrator with the Mississippi Loggers Self-Insured Fund.[1]

On November 8, 2011, Horne won re-election to District 81 of the Mississippi House of Representatives. He ran unopposed in the August 2 primary and was unchallenged in the November 8 general election.[2][3]

On November 6, 2007 Horne was re-elected in District 81, running unopposed.[4] He defeated H.C. "Bunky" Partridge in the primary election by a margin of 2,837 to 1,239.[5]
