Steve Landek is a Democratic member of the Illinois State Senate. He has represented District 11 since his appointment in February 2011 to fill the unexpired term of Louis Viverito.[1]

Landek earned his BA in Public Administration from Roosevelt University. He worked as a park district commissioner for the State of Illinois from 1975 to 1996. He has served as Mayor of Bridgeview, Illinois, since 1999.
