Steve M. Thompson is a Republican member of the Alaska House of Representatives. He has represented the 10th district since 2011.

Thompson served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1967. He has also served as the Mayor of the City of Fairbanks.

Thompson defeated Vivian M. Stiver and Urban E. Rahoi in the August 24 primary.[1] He defeated Democrat John S. Brown in the November 2 general election.[2]
