Democrat Steven Lindberg of Marquette is the current state representative for the 109th District of the Michigan House of Representatives serving his second term. Rep. Brown earned a bachelor’s degree in social work and psychology from Graceland University in Iowa. He went on to earn two master’s degrees: a master’s in social work from Michigan State University and a master’s in educational administration from Grand Valley State University.

Rep. Brown is married to Carol. They have one daughter, Teresa, and two sons, Chris and Bryan.
