Steven Losey was a Democratic candidate in the February 28, 2012 special election for the Michigan House of Representatives, District 51. The special election was called to fill the vacancy created when Paul Scott (R) was recalled on November 8, 2011.[1]

Losey defeated Joseph Graves (R) and Cary Neuville-Justice (G) in the special election on February 28, 2012. Lose won by a 10,290-8,173-803 margin. Candidates were selected by their respective political parties.[2][3][4]




On January 20, the District 51 candidates participated in a debate sponsored by the Flint Area League of Women Voters.[5]
