Steven Otis is a Democratic member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 91. He was first elected to the chamber in 2012.

Otis served as the Mayor of the City of Rye from 1998-2009.


Otis earned his bachelor's degree from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, his M.P.A. from New York University and his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law. His professional experience includes being Chief of Staff for Senator Suzi Oppenheimer, and working as Legislative Director for State Senator Jeremy S. Weinstein.[1]
