Sue Minter was a Democratic member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Washington-Chittenden-1. Minter resigned to serve as Deputy Secretary for the Agency of Transportation. [1]

Minter joined the Vermont State House of Representatives in 2005. She served in that position since, representing the Washington-Chittenden-1 District.

Minter has worked as a Planning Coordinator for the Vermont Department of Housing and Community Affairs. She currently works as a Professional Planner.

Minter earned her B.A. from Harvard University in 1984. She went on to receive her M.A. in City Planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1990.

Minter won re-election to the Washington-Chittenden 1 District in 2010. She ran against Tom Stevens (D), Tom Vickery (I), and Theresa Wood (I) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2]
