Summit Township Property Tax Increase (August 2010)

This measure sought to increase the local property taxes by 1 mill, which will be on average $50 a year for local residents. The money will be used to keep services a operations running in the township. The township had been using its reserve funds so officials hoped this levy would pass to keep more funds in reserve.
