The Sunny Awards was a project created by the Sunshine Review to recognize government websites that scored well on a transparency checklist.

As of December 2013, Ballotpedia will not be releasing Sunny Awards on an annual basis. However, we will re-review websites on a quarterly basis when requested, pending staff resources and availability of time.

To request that a city or school district be evaluated, please e-mail geoff.pallay@ballotpedia.org.

It is helpful to Ballotpedia staff if you include the following:

  • a link to the website
  • links to where the information that will be evaluated can be found on the website
