Susan Austin was a Republican member of the Maine House of Representatives. She represented the 109th District from 2002-2010. In 2010, Austin was ineligible to run under Maine's term limits. Austin ran in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 109.

Austin is a Management Assistant for Ewes Welcome Stenciling and Decorating. She has been an administrative assistant, and employee for a Maine retailer.

Austin is a member of the Crystal Lake Association, Friends of Gray Public Library, Gray Business Association, Gray Historical Society, Gray Senior Housing Authority, Greater Portland Council of Government, Libby Brook Conservation Project, Opportunity Farm for Girls and Boys, and Saint Gregory's Parish Council.[1]
