Wismer won re-election in the 2012 election for South Dakota House of Representatives District 1. Wismer and Dennis Feickert ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Wismer and Feickert won in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012. Incumbent David Sigdestad (D) did not run for re-election.[1]
