Suzanne VanOrman was a Democratic member of the Oregon House of Representatives. She represented District 52 from 2009 to 2011. She ran for the office previously in 2006.

VanOrman is Executive Director of the Mid-Columbia Children's Council. She has two children, Justin and Jay.[1]

VanOrman lost her re-election to the 52nd District seat in 2010. She had no primary opposition but was defeated by Mark Johnson in the general election which took place on November 2, 2010.[2]
