T. D. "Ted" Little was a Democratic member of the Alabama State Senate, representing the 27th District from 1990 to 2010. Previously he was a member from 1975 through 1986. He received a B.S. in Industrial Management from the University of Alabama and a J.D. from the University of Alabama, School of Law[1]

Little was defeated in his bid for re-election to the 27th District seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. He was defeated by Tom Whatley in the November 2 general election.[2]
