Tammie Wilson is a Republican member of the Alaska House of Representatives. She was appointed in 2009 to fill the vacancy of John Coghill Jr..[1] She formerly served as an Assembly Member for Fairbanks North Star Borough from 2008 to 2009.

Wilson earned her BS in Education from Illinois State University in 1983. She is the former owner of an antique collection store. She has also worked as an automotive shop owner. In 2006, she was vice president and board member for Fmr Love INC.

Wilson won re-election to the 11th District Seat in 2010. She had no opposition in the August 24 primary.[2] She defeated Sean P. Rice in the November 2 general election.[3]

2008

Tammie Wilson was not elected to the Alaska State Senate District 11. She was picked as a replacement for representative John Coghill Jr. Her seat will be up for election in 2010.
